Kyle Grohmann, Ph.D., ABPP

Hello, and welcome to my practice. I am Dr. Kyle Grohmann, a board‑certified clinical psychologist with more than 15 years of experience supporting individuals and teams working in demanding, high‑pressure environments. My career has taken me from medical and traditional clinical settings to outposts in Afghanistan and the woods of North Carolina, where I served as an embedded psychologist for special operations organizations. I have also worked extensively with physicians, attorneys, executives, federal agents, law enforcement professionals, and others whose roles require exceptional resilience, discretion, and clarity under pressure.

Across these diverse settings, one theme has remained constant: people thrive when they feel understood, supported, and equipped with practical tools that match the realities of their lives. Many of the individuals I work with are people who consistently strive to “do the right thing” — often in situations where the stakes are high, the information is incomplete, and the choices are anything but simple. Even when acting with integrity and good intention, it’s common to wrestle with doubt, second‑guessing, or the emotional weight of decisions made under pressure.

My practice is grounded in empathy, flexibility, and evidence‑based care — shaped by years of listening deeply, collaborating closely, and helping individuals navigate moments of profound challenge and transition. Whether you’re facing personal difficulties, professional stress, or a major life shift, my goal is to offer a space where you can think clearly, feel grounded, and move forward with confidence.

**Currently, I am only able to offer virtual appointments. However, I am seeking office space in the North Shore-area to provide in-person sessions.
